As of June 1, 2017 Brother Ronnie Chester has retired from IBEW Local 84. Local 84 would like to express many thanks and extend its best wishes in the retirement of Brother Chester. Brother Chester began his career in the electrical industry at Georgia Power displaying an eagerness to learn and help others. Brother Chester joined the IBEW in 1972 and has served as a member of the Executive Board and held the position of President of our local for a number of years. In 2010 Brother Chester joined our local as the Assistant Business Manager representing Transmission and Distribution for Georgia Power covered employees. Ronnie brought laughter to the workplace and saying that he will be missed is an understatement. We hope Brother Chester enjoys his retirement doing the things he loves most such as: hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, children, and  grandchildren.  Thank you for all you have done.
